The integration of mind, body and spirit into our daily lives is critical to living our lives to the fullest. There has been a quickening as we enter into a new way of being, not only in the workplace but also in our personal lives. All that seemed to be a given in the past is now being transformed. We can no longer expect to experience vitality and health through the traditional paradigms of thinking and doing, as we are in the process of an evolutionary shift in our lives. Traditional methods of healing are without question of critical importance. However, a parallel focus on body work allows for a fuller integration of the energy systems inherent and alive in all of us. Honoring the many facets of our being is not only encouraged but has become essential in leading life to its fullest.

Healthy regeneration is the best way to succeed. I happily and fully support Natalie Davis and her work regarding lymphatic draining and colon therapy, which I have experienced many times. I work in the field of Radiology and have diagnosed countless cases of varying types of cancer and disease and I don’t want to “go there”. Many health issues can be prevented, delayed and stopped by frequent internal cleansing.

Bodywork is an integral part of psychotherapy. Many authors and practitioners in the field of psychology have noted the importance of observing and working with body symptoms as crucial indicators of the mind-body connection. As a psychologist of 25 years, my work has been greatly enhanced by incorporating detailed attention to my client’s complaints and concerns around their bodies. On several occasions, I have worked in teams with talented massage therapists with amazing and gratifying results. It is for this reason I am delighted Natalie Davis has come forward with her valuable case history stories – further demonstrating the strong connection between our professional fields. Her Humanistic perspective and caring attitude is reflected in the case stories that follow. They confirm the tie between Humanistic and Transformational Psychology and comparable orientations in bodywork.
The cases she presents are touching and educational. They are bound to inspire beginning and experienced therapists alike. I commend them to you for reading and celebrate Natalie’s “tender touch.”

Having been the recipient of the life-saving and life-giving benefits of colon hydrotherapy, it’s about time a health professional shares the healing stories - most of which are never told. After developing a serious digestive disorder known as autointoxication from a permeable intestinal lining caused from prescription medications after a life-threatening accident, I became allergic to everything - my throat closed in anaphylactic responses several times daily. I am able to continue my work with chemically induced immune system disorders and help patients around the globe because of the benefits of colon hydrotherapy - it saved my life!
Natalie shares case histories that, up until now, are kept behind the closed doors of the therapy room and the dark shadows of our subconscious. By sharing these experiences and endorsements from those whose lives have been transformed, as mine was, my prayer is that more and more physicians will look into colon hydrotherapy for the life-saving procedure that it is; after all, it’s validated and used throughout most of the world by medical professionals, except in the U.S.
Once you begin reading Body Talk Never Lies, you won’t put it down until you’re finished. .. But the experiences shared will surely be engraved in your mind; what are your mind body connections that you have “slashed” away?

I have always believed that the way we eat and eliminate is a microcosm of the way we live our lives – if we are eating and eliminating well, we are moving with the flow of life!
If however, we are constipated, consider that we are stuck in the past and thus old holding patterns are formed, inhibiting our ability to eliminate.
Impacted bowels are a metaphor for holding onto past traumas and subconscious stories that continue to have an emotional charge!
The inability to let go of the past, especially unresolved issues, causes suppressed anger, fear and sadness that often lead to anxiety and depression.
Many of us learned early on that when life gets chaotic and untrusting, the only way to have some semblance of control was to control our bowels.
We can decide to eliminate or not, and these early patterns extend into adulthood.
The voluntary nervous system affects our digestive tract – from our mouth to our anus. When our body talks to us, it talks by way of sounds, flatulence and gurgling noises. The body lets us know when we are hungry or satiated. The forming of gas and bloating are part of the vocabulary of our body. It knows if we ate badly by “speaking” to us like if there is an intestinal backup with an accompanying dull ache – it’s trying to get your attention!
Body Talk Never LIes is sure to leave an embossed memory with the reader just as do the subconscious events that haunt each of us – possibly one of the case reports shared will resonate with situations in your life!
